Legal awareness programme by DLSA on cyber crime at GDC Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, May 2: With increase in cyber crimes and to create awareness among the people, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in collaboration with District Police Udhampur, organized an awareness camp at Degree College Udhampur, here today, where dozens of college students were taught how to protect themselves from such crimes.

he program was presided over by Principal District and Sessions Judge Sanjay Parihar, Chairman District Legal Services Authority Udhampur and Secretary DLSA Sandeep Kour. Beside others, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Piyush Singla, Additional Session Judge C L Bavouria, Principal Degree College Dr N K Resutra, Sub Judge Spl Mobile Magistrate Romesh Lal, Additional Mobile Magistrate Anjana Rajput and District Mobile Magistrate Ajay Kumar, retainer lawyer Sanjeet Kumar were present on the occasion . Speaking on the occasion, resource person M Y Kichloo, Senior Superintendent of Police J&K Police (Security wing) informed the students about various types of cyber crimes and their repercussions .
